Crossfit competitors don't feel sorry for themselves...and certainly don't feel pathetic! We will ALL be up in the top position! We thirst for challenge.

Yes Mike we are all up for the challenge. Its not pathetic everyone has to start somewhere.

I will be doing the Body Destroyer and moaning quite pathetically during the push up hold. I missed this morning, but I can do this one at home today, so that's cool. I'm super excited about crawling around on my bloody hands today, too--believe I'll be wearing some gloves, since I'll be in the privacy of my own home/yard...

hello all, new to this blog, friend of a crossfitter out your way, (hey GNC) I'm at TM ROC Fayetteville. did the level 1 out there in S. Pines last Nov. been experimenting between these WODs and 'normal' crossfit. Could you explain a rocker, I didn't find it on the normal website?
thx, dig the WODs so far.

SS, the best to describe a rocker is to think of a banana. Lay down on the floor with your hands outstretched over your head, form your body like a banana and simply rock. I will try to put some stuff about our program here at mydogssnore this weekend. Thanks for visiting the blog.MP

Hound,
I am soooo glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was pretty pathetic having to use neosporin on my rear! First time I've done these rockers. They're as fun as the rope climbs...both producing lovely injuries.

I have to say that I witnessed the 4pm class when I went back to the gym today. Good form. Wished I would've seen people demonstrate the exercise beforehand. (Sorry, GNC...2 rocks just weren't enough.)
Btw, what'd you mean about the push-up hold, Hound? (Feeling the music or something else?) I certainly stayed UP!

Let us know how your workout goes, Rebecca. Happy healing. :)
