This was a terrible workout. I really thought that I might die. I did it Rx in 22:40, but I think it took me 10 minutes to get through round 5. However, it should be noted, that during the workout, I did not fall down or do anything really dumb. Then I tried to walk out of the gym (in a straight line, on a flat surface), and I fell down, went boom. Right on my face. In the rain. And dislocated my ankle. Which I then had to pop back into place--it was so freaky and gross--ugh. Thank god for Paul and Gina, who were right behind me and got to witness the whole spectacle, but were kind enough to stifle any (very justified) laughter and helped me back into the gym until I could make it back out to my car. Seriously, I need walking lessons--this is ridiculous...

Oh, and I still crushed Hound.

Hee!

Rebecca,

While it was interesting that you could injure yourself walking out of the gym, let me assure you, Paul & I were definitely NOT laughing! I'm just glad there was a medical person nearby....Yay for Paul. :)
Hound, it's okay to admit that girls can rock crossfit. :)
Btw- thanks for believing in all of us girls, GNC. You make us lift more than we think we can...and you're right, we can!

Well I must mention right away that I had some kick ass amazing performances this morning the meeting of Team 6 and the Amazing 7am class of 4 girls and a Guy. I am having one of those Proud to be a Coach days. To start things off, all my Team 6 members hit this monster Rx'ed, with Adam and Mike S. posting great performances at 18:05 and 18:55 respectively, even though Mike did 3 rounds with 15 split cleans instead of 10 (he lost count). Hound also had a great showing today, finishing the whole workout with the prescribed weight.

Then came the thunder of the Amazing 7am class of Gina, Wabbitt, Laurabi, Lins and Paul. Gina cranked out this monster with Rx'ed weight and a blue band on pull-ups in 18:00, and had absolutely perfect form on the cleans. Wabbitt hit it Rx'ed and was seriously motivated to wreck this thing, and I was shocked at her great form on the cleans. That one on one time with her and Lins practicing cleans paid off for them today. Laurabi, Lins and Paul were in a fierce battle this morning, showing great effort and intensity. Laurabi and Paul finished very close, both of them showing they don't have an once of quit in 'em. An especially honorable mention is in store for Lins, who on Friday did her first real Pull-up, and began each set of pull-ups today with 3-5 real ones before switching to the blue band. She also toughed out the first round with Rx'ed and only backed off by 5 lbs to finish the workout, and did real burpees the whole way through. Way to go Lins.

Wabbitt-I hope you are ok and can make it in tomorrow morning for another fun day of torture at ECCF.

- A very proud GNC

Hey Wabbitt,
Im sorry to hear about your ankle, but there is good news that comes from it and I think GNC will agree with me, and that is M-DUB may not fing out the meaning for a little while longer. Get better but not too quickly.
