To the Great and Wise Programmer-For the Hound, with his bad shoulder that is aggravated by snatches and OHS, is there a different move he could use? and what weight would he use?
Also, as I looked at the board yesterday, and Offically declare the score:
Wabbitt - 2 Hound - 1
Hound, you must save your victory speech for Friday, if you win tomorrow and on Friday, that is. To succeed this week you must play to your strengths, remember to balance good form with intensity, and trip the Wabbitt as she runs by.
Wabbitt, to succeed tomorrow you must remember the hour long lesson on cleans, and even though you usually are as slow as old people copulating, to succeed you must find speed and aggressiveness you didn't know you had.
GNC he will need two bars. Place one on the floor and have him replace the overhead squat with a snatch grip deadlift, use one in the rack for front squats, then go back to the floor to power clean. Have him still use his snatch max as the weight for all three lifts. The order of lifts should be snatch grip deadlifts, front squats, and power cleans. 7 rounds with 3 reps of each movement.MP
I'm calling in my defeat early this morning--I tried--I really did, but when the alarm went off this morning and I found that I couldn't move my legs, I decided that more squats were just not happening today. 150 wallballs and 9 horses in the cold have taken their toll. I'll be seeing everyone tomorrow...also, my knees are killing me--any advice? Sorry to leave you devoid of entertainment this morning, GNC.
Dont feel bad Wabbit, Im in the same boat. I woke up this AM, checked the WOD and went straight back to bed. And yes, Its a workout in its self just to put one foot in front of the other today. Looks like Friday I'll be playing for the tie.

Hound,
We finally agree on something, then.
