Michael, I'm happy to say that I tried the plank position and tapping the chest and I was able to do it without falling over or breaking anything. I have yet to work on the jumping with the timing anymore. I figure I'll leave that for you to laugh at.

So Mike, once again I have to referee the death match that has become the rivalry of the Hound and the Wabbitt. While it is harder to declare a true winner on strength days, today I must say that hound unleashed his inner ninja on the weighted pull-ups with greater effectiveness than the Wabbitt, for the key reason that somehow the Wabbitt managed to drop the weight that was tied to her mid-pull-up. Though that did not stop the smack talking at all...

Score for the New Year so far is:

H - 1
W - 1

Hound scored a victory today, but needs to push himself tomorrow in the MetCon WOD to attain the lead.

I am sore. And bruised. And I think GNC is a big meanie. I managed to do a couple of decent weighted pull ups before the weight belt fell off, and I can't help that they don't make weight belts in girl sizes. I personally think that I should be commended for kipping so hard that I caused the thing to fall down. Plus, I did crush everyone in skin the cat, which may have to become a daily event, or at least mandatory on strength days, just so that I can feel better about myself after GNC has belittled me so...ouch, though--2009 does hurt.
